The Villa Caravan Park & Fishery in North Lancashire is close to Morecambe Bay, the quiet coastal areas of Arnside and Silverdale and historic Lancaster with castle, museum and buildings dating back to Roman times is just minutes away.
You can literally cast a line from your door into one of the four interconnecting lakes that hold and excellent head of mixed coarse fish including specimen carp up to 30lbs – it really is an anglers paradise!
Use The Villa Caravan Park & Fishery as a base to explore the Southern Lake District, Yorkshire Dales or Morecambe Bay and Lancaster, whilst the keen angler amongst you whiles away the day at the waterside.
Alternatively, you can slip across the road and enjoy the first class leisure club at the sister park South Lakeland Leisure Village, which includes state of the art gymnasium, indoor heated swimming pool and sauna and Pure Essence Beauty Day Spa.
If your keen angler has failed to catch supper, you could try a speciality fish dish at Waters Edge Restaurant & Bar which is open seven days a week .
